What are the English levels?

There are 6 English levels in total, but what are they? What do they refer to? and how to know your level. what learners at each level can do? That’s what we will find out shortly.
What are the CEFR levels?
The standard frame used to refer to the language level of a learner is the CEFR which is short for Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This frame describes the learners’ abilities, and what they can do, and help them choose the right learning material and courses for their level.
The CEFR is the global standard for grading language proficiency. The standard language levels are A1 (beginners), A2 (pre-intermediate), B1 (intermediate), B2 (upper intermediate), C1 (advanced), and C2 (proficiency).
Now let’s see what the learners at each level can do.
A1 level English.
The beginners’ level, at this level the learner will learn the every day and most common expressions and phrases. When finishing this level, the learners will be able to introduce themselves, answer simple questions, and ask simple questions, in short.
A2 level English.
The pre-intermediate level at which learners will be able to use frequently used expressions in everyday situations, and describe what they need or what surrounds them. In short, at this level of the English levels, they will be able to make small friendly conversations with native speakers.
B1 level English.
The intermediate English level at which learners can easily familiarize topics, communicate with native speakers and write simple texts about topics they are familiar with.
B2 English level.
The upper intermediate level. At this level of English levels, the learners can easily understand complex texts, communicate with natives easily, write texts about different topics, and express themselves and their ideas. This is the most common level, that is required in the job field.
C1 English level.
The advanced level, at this level, learners can easily understand complex texts and topics, and can easily communicate and interact with others with fluency, without facing any difficulties.
C2 level English.
Proficiency in English level. The learners can easily understand anything they read or hear, and can express themselves fluently in complex situations.
How to know your English level?
To know your English level, you should take an English test, which consists of a combination of questions that tests your vocabulary, grammar, listening skills, and writing skills, after finishing the test you will get your score.
